April Journal Notes

We tried something new at Club Night in February, and invited three members to be Guest Speakers for the evening:

Past President Graham Hallard regailed us with amusing anecdotes from his life in motorcycling, in true Ronnie Corbett rocking chair style. John Bradfield introduced us to his hobby of powered gliding and Gary Booth’s ‘What’s in the Shed’ slide show and talk will hopefully encourage others to do likewise. The evening was a great success, always a risk with something new.

35 attended the Hallards' excellent Wrinkly Lunch at the Queens Head, Salford Priors.

At April Club Night our Guest Speaker will be Jeremy Main on 'The design and development of the Aston Martin DB9', from his days as a Captain of Industry!

We have Wrinkly Runs from The Hallards and Mike Chiddick and the ‘Blossom Run’ which may be a breach of the Trades Description Act. Spring is here!
