September 2019 - Journal Notes

We enjoyed five runs in July, including two Wrinkly Run’s, The Shadders Run, a new 'Salted Fish’ run, a ‘Pub Meet’ and Founders Day.

Unbelievably, I now begin compiling next year’s calendar, so the committee is looking for offers to lead some new runs, to add to the brilliant efforts of those who already do. We need to keep the calendar fresh, although good turnouts, and the new ‘Pub Meets’ have been well received, so hopefully we are not far off the mark. We don’t do many show type events nowadays, although these generally were never as well supported as normal runs, and , again, if you have an idea, do please offer to at least part organise it.

Also, offers from members to do a short talk, or suggestions of interesting people we can contact are invaluable.

Club Night is this Tuesday 3rd Sept. At 8pm in the back room of the Lygon Arms in Chipping Campden, as usual.
